Jobster: How has Jobster made your recruiting experience more efficient and effective?

Stefanie: Jobster allows us to do passive and active sourcing on a wide variety of candidate searches. In addition, we are able to reach out to a number of different niche sites due to the networking tools offered by Jobster. Interest has increased significantly since Jobster’s partnership with other networks. In addition, we have had a couple of hires come from www.jobster.com directly.

Jobster: Explain how Jobster has made it easier for you to find and manage candidates?

Stefanie: With Jobster, we are able to search candidates by region, title, company, etc and reach out to them directly with email campaigns. This has increased our applicant flow and allowed us to keep passive candidates in our network for future reference. In addition, we are able to search for college recruits through the Facebook connection which accounts for 20% of external hires throughout the year.

Jobster: What is one of your most frustrating recruiting experiences and how did Jobster help you?

Stefanie: Probably the most frustrating thing associated with recruiting that most organizations can relate to is finding qualified candidates. Jobster’s search tools allow you to plug into various networks and organizations to find individuals with similar roles for those job specifications in your search. In addition, you are not only given their contact information for messaging, you can look up information on their past professional history through Zoom Info, Linked In, and other resources that prevents you from having to do additional legwork.

Jobster: Tell me about an initiative that had a positive outcome using Jobster.

Stefanie: We utilize Jobster as an Employee Referral Program supplemental tool. This allows our new hires and current employees to forward the Jobster messaging to their personal networks. Through this new initiative, we have hired a number of different candidates including a Director of Marketing.
